Our Ecosystem
The Facilities Behind Our Network
AgAssetCo doesn't build and operate processing hubs alone. A coalition of group companies, climate-finance facilities, and credit institutions stands behind our Productive-Asset-as-a-Service model.
AgAssetCo is a DREEF cluster company, part of a wider group of asset-owning businesses that deploy distributed energy and productive-use infrastructure across Nigeria’s underserved communities. The partners below provide the project-preparation support, credit enhancement, and local-currency financing that stand behind our hubs and our expansion to 20 sites over five years.
FundCo Capital Managers Limited
FundCo Capital Managers Limited is the parent company behind AgAssetCo and the wider group of asset-owning, climate-infrastructure businesses it sponsors across Nigeria, including the Clean Energy Local Currency Fund below.
Electrify Microgrid Limited (EML)
Electrify Microgrid Limited develops rural mini-grids across Nigeria and sits within the same DREEF cluster family as AgAssetCo, sharing the standardized Energy-as-a-Service approach to distributed infrastructure financing.
Agronomie
Agronomie finances agri-tech, cold-chain, processing, drying, logistics, and inputs equipment across Nigeria's agricultural value chains. As a fellow DREEF cluster company working alongside the same farmers and processors AgAssetCo serves, Agronomie's financing and AgAssetCo's owned processing infrastructure complement each other across the sector.
DREEF
The Distributed Renewable Energy Enhancement Facility Incorporated (DREEF) is a project-preparation facility established by InfraCredit with the World Bank Group, backed also by the Clean Energy Fund (CEF), KfW, and Convergence, with Deloitte serving as Technical Assistance Facility Manager. AgAssetCo operates under a DREEF-standardized Energy-as-a-Service framework: DREEF supports the project preparation and de-risking that lets a dedicated energy Developer finance and operate the solar mini-grid behind each hub, while AgAssetCo focuses on owning and operating the processing equipment.
Clean Energy Local Currency Fund (CEF)
The Clean Energy Local Currency Fund is FundCo Capital Managers' regulated climate-infrastructure fund, Climate Bonds Certified and rated BBB by GCR/Agusto. CEF is part of the DREEF backing coalition, providing local-currency, concessional-tenor capital that helps fund the distributed processing and energy infrastructure behind AgAssetCo's hubs.
InfraCredit
InfraCredit is a specialised infrastructure credit guarantee institution that provides local-currency guarantees to catalyse investment in infrastructure. InfraCredit established the DREEF facility with the World Bank Group, anchoring the ecosystem of project-preparation and credit support that AgAssetCo draws on as a DREEF cluster company.
